not that strong
They say 75lb but are no where near that holding force.If you want something to hold light weight steel they are fine for that.

best out there
1 of 1 found this helpful Having been a carpenter for 33 years and have tried all makes of tape these are by far the best out there.I have had my old one for 6 years and used daily and have bought a new one as the numbers had started to wear off the old one.
The tape still works and if you are out in the rain for doing first fix with wet timber this will be a must and it doesn’t rust
