Inside O'Toole's head.
O'Toole's writing is lyrical. There is no index, so no skipping to and fro. Hitler's impact on O'Toole's generation is immense with O'Toole acknowledging as his best work "Rogue Male" made from Geoffrey Houseman's 1939 best selling novel. Reading this book is like hearing the writer thinking.

Great pot.
The Scanpan Commercial range is the one I love. I make chutneys, jams, sauces, tomato purées and soups (to freeze in cup size lots) in bulk. This pot has a heavy base that distributes the heat evenly thus avoiding the dreaded sticking to the bottom of the pot and ever vigilant stirring. The handles are properly attached with stainless steel - not aluminium, as happens with some expensive pots. It is sturdily made.
I use a wood stove so the wide bottom is no problem. However, you may need to measure the diameter of your biggest stove/cooker ring as this pot may overhang a bit, necessitating a higher heat - it's a wide pot.
However, I recommend this pot.
