Better than expected
From reviews on this and similar products, both on eBay and elsewhere, I didn't expect much from the forks. Was hoping that it would hold together just long enough to get a few tasks done. After a couple of weeks of using it, though, I'm sad that I haven't bought before now.
These have held up under the different conditions I've used them in. They've hauled pallets, plywood and lumber, brush piles, 650 pound bag of animal feed, cross ties, firewood, and short power poles. Yes, they can be a bit wiggly with a lot of weight on them, but that should be expected considering that the whole load is essentially hanging by just 2 points off the front of a loader bucket. This may be the best purchase I've ever made for my tractor.
Even the paint is holding up to my jobs. I've managed to gouge a few scratches down to bare metal, but I fully expected the paint to be completely trashed after light use. Still hanging on strong, though. I'm no painter, but it has the look of powder coating.
If you're on the fence trying to decide, just do it. Can't go wrong with this set - especially for the insanely low price point. If something happened to mine, I wouldn't hesitate to buy the same again.

Works
Works as expected on a Poulan pp258tp. Almost direct replacement for factory item. The cable on this one is longer, but can be worked with.

Not perfect, but works
I like this thing. Doesn't put out the advertised 90V at maximum, but gets 60+ which works well enough for me. I'm using it as a replacement controller for a cheap mini metal lathe whose control circuitry was toasted.
The product I received had the name removed from the front cover before the "Speed Control" text, but not a problem for my use case. The name isn't really important anyway, but looks kind of odd with half the text scratched off. Would be nice to have the full zero to 100% speed control, but mine only kicks in at 50%. Maybe more of an issue with minimum requirements of my lathe motor, though. Terminals are easy to get hooked up quickly. No problems with the power switch or the knob.
I bought this not expecting very much, considering the low price. Mainly more of an experiment to see what I could get at this price point. I'm not disappointed. If I had another case where I need a similarly rated controller for a personal application, I wouldn't have a problem buying one of these again.
