A high quality product from Nikon!
3 of 3 found this helpful I keep it on my Nikkor AF-S 300/4 all the time, and it does a great job magnifying without degrading the sharpness visibly. It protects the special glassless end of this lens as well. Looks like they were made for each other, and they probarbly were! AF works like a dream. Beware: it doesn't fit all Nikon lenses.

Love it!
A wonderful sharp lens that pairs very well with the 105/1.4E prime. Creates beautiful wide angle images with background separation, amazing colour rendition and a pleasant bokeh. One of Nikon's finest.

It works if you're really careful, but...
...it doesn't lock on to the f-mount safely. My old Takumar 105 fell off a few times.
