Refurbished Unit keeps shutting down
This is my second MAX360 unit I bought a new one a couple or years ago and it worked perfectly but because prices have gone up I figured I would try a second unit refurbished and have had it for several days. Tried it in two different cars and the results are the same. The unit will shut down at random intervals I’ve also swapped the power cord from the other unit that works and try it on the refurbished unit and the results are the same where it shuts down after almost 5 minutes and has to be unplugged then plugged back in to bring it back online multiple times during a single drive of 30 minutes or less. This will probably be the last refurbished unit I buy, but escort makes a really good radar detector especially the max 360.
