Flagship performance delivered
I have a very bright room with a lot of windows and natural light, which is why I chose QLED over OLED, and the Q90R doesn't disappoint. The Sammy has no problems overcoming bright ambient light and provides a very wide viewing angle that doesn't wash out. I would recommend having the set calibrated if only because it's so bright from the factory, it might sear your retinas if you don't reign it in a bit, lol. Once locked in, the Q90R presents a vibrant, detailed picture with impressive contrast and color saturation. 4K UHD and HDR are excellent, but as with most HD sets, upscaled SD looks pretty awful, especially splashed across a 75" screen. If you are wall mounting this, keep in mind this isn't a wafer thin, ultra light OLED. The 75" is over 100 lbs and will definitely require an extra set of hands. Otherwise, this is everything you'd expect of a flagship TV. Highly recommended!
