Worse than useless
I returned the one I bought. The only piece in the box that worked was the power supply. The power cord wouldn't light the power supply. The adapter didn't show up on either Mac or PC. The Sata cable didn't spin a Sata drive. I had a Sabrent USB 3.0 that worked. I wanted another for USB 2.0. After sending this one back I bought a used Sabrent 2.0 converter. It works. This is worse than useless because if you rely on it you will write off good drives. Worse, you won't be able to recover data from dying drives.

This is a good answer for a dead coffee maker
The thermal fuse from another source is only 15% of the cost. But buying a single individual piece and paying handling and shipping will cost as much and is a whole lot more trouble. This a good deal. Comes with handy instructions for those who aren't skilled in the electrical trade. All you do is cut two wires, reposition existing insulator sleeves the new fuse, and squeeze some connectors to the wires you cut. This isn't hard. Look at the pictures and do what the text says.
