Great for a 6-7 year old
My nephew was visiting and saw this game (we had one) and wanted to play it on his Nintendo DS. He couldn't put it down all weekend! He was not sure how he could possibly live without the game, so I went onto e-bay and found one. I think that speaks for itself. He had played the game on the Wii, but the animals are a little to life like on the Wii and left him a bit frightened. On the Game Boy, he was a very successful hunter and was really proud of himself. I would recommend it for anyone in his age group -- 6 years old or so. I'm surprised that Cabela's no longer makes this game. Get it while you can.

Amazing Lacing is an Amazing Book
I had an Amazing Lacing book for years and my niece (age 5) loves it so much I bought this one for her. Not only is it a fun lacing book which helps with eye hand coordination, it has really fun strings - like some glittery ones and some that are curled. In addition, the lacing pages are fun like one with a guy eating spaghetti. The one thing I would change about the book if I could would be to only have the pictures on one side of the page. After you lace one picture, the one behind it looks kind of funny. I would definitely recommend this as a quiet time book for preschool - kindergarten aged children!
