I would definitely recommend
It fits my 2012 VW Passat which is the big 3.6. This is the second roof rack I bought. The first was a square bar,I didn’t like how the hardware fit my car. This one extends out to about 53’’ or more.i didn’t actually measure. The feet do not reach the “rain gutter” but it holds my paddleboard just fine. The sound while driving is minimal,it’s there but it’s more noticeable at speeds of 55 and up but none with my board on it. Foe the price it’s a good deal. If you want better spend more but in the end I’m happy.

Works great
I bought for use on my sailboat and it’s proved it’s the first time I used it.I had to go under a drawbridge and I was able to read the tide levels.I was really far away too,left me more than enough time to know wether I could pass under safety or needed to ask the bridge master to lift.I bought more for that kind of safety issue.Much better than binoculars and easier too.
