Good quality for a great price
I admit that I was skeptical with a price this low compared to other brands. Installation was not a problem as they fit perfectly. The ride height is right on. The only thing is that you do lose some of the quality of ride you have with air suspension, but that was expected. The ease of no longer hassling with an aging and failing air system is worth the trade off.

TomTom XXL 550TM with lifetime updates
I saw where someone wrote about how difficult it was perform the initial setup on the unit. I was curious, because I had been given one for Christmas and I loved it so much I decided to buy one for my father-in-law. I had no issues setting mine up, but then I work with electronics every day and I know what to expect and generally how things work. Because of the other persons comments, I decided to "play dumb" about the set up and try to follow the instructions provided. Well, the instructions do lack. However, it is not difficult to set this GPS up and be ready to go. It does take some time to update when it has a full update, but there is a lot of information being updated. I walked my wife through it, she's not electronic savvy at all. 1. Plug the GPS into your computer 2. If it doesn't automatically install, you can install it from the GPS itself (the program is on it, just look in the drive letter for TomTom) or you can go to www.tomtom.com and look in the support section for clear instructions. 3. Once installed, it has a very easy click through menu. 4. One thing that is not clear, be sure to enter your code from the card in the box. This code gives you free map updates for life! I don't have to enter the code again, but keep the code in a safe place in case I need to use another computer to update it later. The TomTom itself is excellent, nice options for everything, nice visual, nice timing (doesn't wait until you passed the turn to tell you, my Nextar was really slow), and it even shows great 3D images of confusing highway exits and splits with clear instructions on which to take. I've used Nextar, Garmin, and TomTom, this is my favorite by far!
