Xiaomi Mi Pro 2 Electric Scooter, With Spare Tire, Puncture Fluid And Charger.

Good scooter that can handle 20degree inclines. Better suited to longer distances.

Increased torque from its higher wattage motor. Greater range thanks to the increased capacity battery vs the vanilla M365 or 1S Xiaomi's. One needs to be aware of the increased weight (14.2Kg) and the slight increase in size over the Xiaomi 1S or essential scooter, which is noticeable when folding and carrying around for more than a couple of minutes. It's fine for folding up and loading into a car or on to a bus, but it becomes cumbersome if carrying up or down stairs or escalators. Bigger battery capacity does give it greater range but it also means an increase in charging time which now takes over 8 hours for a complete charge. Previous generation of scooters were very prone to punctures. Xiaomi have claimed they have fitted these with thicker and more durable inner tubes. Fitting solid tyres could be the way forward, but it affects the handling and grip of the scooter, making it nervous. Living in the UK with potholes all over the place, I'd recommend to keep them on pneumatic tyres to get some form of cushioning from the bumps. Not waterproof, bottom battery cover panel is only IP54 rated, so you need to avoid riding in puddles and when raining. UK's climate isn't best suited to these things. A well made scooter and represents good value if you can get a discount off the RRP.
