Buy it, buy it....Just buy it!

I NEVER write reviews. Just don't get around to it. BUT I need to make an exception here. I have had my NAA .22mag. for over 15 years. I have wanted to carry it as my "always" gun (the gun you always have with you, even when you can't carry something bigger) but when I would go to the range and try to actually shoot it, kind of under a real-life "emergency" situation....I just couldn't pull it off....The little thing just jumped around in my hand too much. Just couldn't hold it well enough to think about actually having to fight with it. So it has pretty much just sat in my gun safe since Bush was in the White House. I bought one of these slip on rubber grips last week and WOW, should have done that YEARS ago. Yes, it is slightly bigger than the factory grips. But that is just the point. It is just enough bigger (and sticky) to allow my averaged-sized hand to actually hang on the the darned thing under recoil! Best $22 I have spent on anything gun related in quite awhile....I can now actually CARRY and USE it. Tip -- Take your time installing. Remove the wooden grips then take a Q-tip with just a bit of gun lube and rub around the grip frame and the inside of the rubber grip. Then slowly pull it on. It only takes about a minute. But if you try to go fast, it WILL tear. Then once in place, it won't move at all. Again, I feel kind of stupid....Should have bought one of these YEARS ago.
