Fits perfectly.
A little smaller, 3/32 of an inch, but does not affect the speed. The original expended over the years. Overall a good fit.

Feels good in the hand,use it daily for peeling/slicing onions, garlic, ginger, meat and other small tasks. We love this knife.

Flawless finish, good fret work and smooth ends. Tried the Vintera '60s Cdn $1875 w/tax, Squire 40th Anniversary,$937 w/tax, and the best of the lot, MIJ $1170 inc. tax and shipping.
