A sub-standard product
0 of 1 found this helpful There is no fine filter element on this product despite whatRam air have assured me. I’ve looked under a microscope and the structure of the internal and external foam is identical (as can be seen in first 3 photos). I’ve used Ram air products in the cars I’ve built over the last 15 years and these are not the same quality. The filters I have all have clear finer internal foam fitted (as per the last 2 photos) . I spoke to Ram Air but they told me that the product they have sent me represents the quality of the product they will be supplying going forward. I’ll have to look for another supplier now.
