A Rugged Option with Less Bulk
I like that it is less bulky and tacky than the Otter Box covers. They are just too much for me. I also like the beveled edges for easy grip. The assembly was straightforward and well engineered. The only thing I don't like is the screen protector. It has little dots which improve the sensitivity pretty well. However the finish provides some friction that just feels like it is always dirty. It also increases glare and makes your screen look like there is oil trapped next to the glass. Luckily the screen protector is removable if I get tired of it. The clip and holster work OK but tend to get snagged on everything. Just a little more so than others like it.
Overall it is a good product that is performing well for a rugged case. I still prefer the Spiegen tough armor, but they are no longer available for the S5. I got this one at a deep discount so it was an easy decision to try it.

Easy enough to do yourself.
My parents have had to replace 2 of these on their stove, and get charged $200+ to have a repair person do it. This is an easy repair to do yourself with little more than a screwdriver and a pair of pliers. There are plenty of online instructions out there if you need help or encouragement. The part looks to be identical in form and quality to the OEM piece that was installed. I did this for a Christmas present to my Mom who had been suffering with a bad burner for a year. 2 months later it is still working perfect. If another one goes, I will gladly do it again.

Good as Original
This was a very inexpensive replacement to the OEM piece. It appear dimensionally and structurally identical to the original, which is unlike others that I have seen. It has been in use now for several weeks, and has not failed yet. The original lasted for about 5 years, so it will be hard to say the long term reliability. For the price, I have a spare, and it is easily replaced. Do I am not worried.
