Did not last - Takes 2 trigger pulls to activate tool
I ordered two of these in late 2020 and they received light occasional use until mid 2022 when they both died completely (no lights, won't charge). Before they died, I had the same issue another reviewer had - it took two trigger pulls to activate a tool.

A Solid Product
6 of 6 found this helpful My daughter and I spotted a Razor E3000 in a thrift store a few weeks ago and bought it on a whim. It had no batteries, so I knew I'd be purchasing some parts. After spending a little time online I decided I wanted to overvolt it from 24v to 36v and I wanted a complete kit that would let me avoid shopping for individual components. This product fit the bill. Over a couple of evenings I modified my E300 to take 3 12v sealed lead acid batteries using plywood to raise the deck off of the frame. That was the biggest part of the job. The installation of the kit was pretty seamless. I was not interested in preserving the old controller, handle/twist switch, or handle grips, so I just cut everything off. The connections to the new controller were easy to figure out. The biggest wiring issue for me was that I had to fabricate a new battery harness, which will not be necessary if you have the old one. There is a 5-pin electrical connector on the wire to the throttle that would not fit through the hole in the battery tray, so I slipped the pins out of the white nylon housing, put the end of the cable with the pins through the tray hole, and then remounted the pins in the nylon housing. This was cleaner than enlarging the hole in the battery tray so the connector would fit through, but you have to be sure to make a diagram of which color wire goes into which hole in the nylon housing. I was thrilled that upon making all the connections, everything worked flawlessly. The instructions could be a little clearer and/or photos could be added, but as I said, I was able to figure all that our without too much trouble. I recommend this product and would buy it again.
