Works fine
It works as it should at a fragment of the price of an original adapter.

Great value for money
The watch does exactly what I want: tracks my runs. It records GPS, my heart rate, stride rate, and other values which are of no importance to me as a hobby runner. But it's nice to browse your runs.
There are a few setbacks, though.
It takes a couple of minutes for the GPS to kick in. It's a good idea to start the outdoor running feature while warming up outdoors. When it doesn't record, it gives you estimates, you you won't lose the total estimateof your run - it will simply mark it on the map from the point where it began recording (such as, 3 milies into your run).
While running, there are several different types of information on display to view, such as speed/distance, heartrate, and clock. It would be really useful to be able to know your zone all the time, on all screens.
The interface (Garmin Connect) offers toooo much to do there. But that is probably a good thing for most people. I basically stopped looking at it, because I felt overwhelmed. I look at my runs in Runtastic, which has a much simpler interface.
I haven't tried a coaching mode yet (or a shadow runner, etc - just the recording feature, but I believe it is done intuitively and usefully.
It's not exactly... fashionable.
It does what I want my running watch to do, and much much more, that I don't care about. I got my second-hand for 95 USD and I am ever so happy about this purchase.
