The author has compiled a marvelous book focussing on a dozen grand estates in the Hudson Valley... most of them abandoned. Spooky stories of wealthy people and their homes that have entered history and legend.

Chrome Steel Spring Car Antenna
Have you noticed that car and truck antennas have morphed into limp black plastic rods that have no style or integrity? A lot of antennas are now a tiny Smurf hat standing maybe two inches tall. I'm driving a 1991 Toyota pick up, recently repainted, and the chrome spring antenna is the crowning touch. Small price to acquire a touch of class. Buy one.
