Bought it to reattach shoe soles to uppe...

Bought it to reattach shoe soles to uppers. Tried it as a straightforward "impact" glue where both sides are glued, allowed to dry and then pushed together. Absolutely NO stick, just dry glue. Disappointing to say the least BUT when I heated the joint with a hot air gun and pressed together it stuck well, so a good result in the end, just not what I expected.
