This saw is Hungry.
2 of 2 found this helpful Had to cut some stringers. Anybody whose been there knows wet pressure treated 2x12s just bogs down any saw. Meet your match. This porter cable 5.5 compact came to eat. Ate through pt lumber like they were match sticks. 45 minutes. 5 stringers down. One man and his hungry new porter cable compact. All I had to do is let her eat. I have only reviewed 2 products this being the second in my 30 plus years in carpentry. The multi tool by Dr#!×l and this saw have gotten the attention of someone whose seen and bought alot of gimmicky gadgets. This compact saw is worth the money. Buy it and you won't be disappointed.
