Stops the leaks

The valve was easy to fit as a replacement for the standard Camelbak one which always leaked. Easy to disconnect the bite valve for easy cleaning or purging. Only problem is that the outer dust cap became disconnected in the child when the plastic became inflexible and is now easy to lose.

Functional but not flash

Overall the dashcam works and does what it's supposed to, once you've got it set up, and the instructions are not that clear. There are a couple of annoying things such as the very tinny sound every time power comes on and you don't seem to be able to mute it. Secondly, the buttons rattle around as you drive, just due to general in vehicle vibration and this seems to be due to the low build quality, but it's not expensive compared to many. You can set it so that the display times out after say 30sec, which is worth doing so that you're not distracted, particularly at night, but if the motion detection is set on, then the screen quickly comes back on, making that feature pointless. OK for the money, but I wouldn't buy another.
