Full Service Maual
1 of 1 found this helpful The PDF service manual works great! You do need the Free Adobe PDF reader otherwise the pages will look small and print funny. Browsers do funny things to PDF's. Other than that it is just a regular service manual and I just print the pages as I need them. I would buy this again if I needed it for a different bike.

Looks Good BUT DOES NOT FIT AT ALL
I was really stoked when I first got this piece, because it is really nice looking, but when I went to put it on, it did not fit at all. As you probably know the entire GSXR front end comes together at this point and is key in fitting all the fairings back together. First the tab slots were way too small and would not fit at all so I took my grinder and tried to open up the tab slots as close as possible. After about 2 hours of grinding and fitting and re-grinding and refitting the tab slots, there was just not enough left to grind before breaking the slots. From my perspective the thickness of the carbon fiber piece caused problems because it is about 3x as thick as the OEM plastic, and the tabs could not be fitted properly because the OEM tabs have angles that need to be accounted for and the carbon fiber piece had wrong size slots and they were not angled like the OEM. Then to further the problems, the radius on the carbon fiber nose piece was not correct, which I also tried to grind and file down. The best fitment I could get left inconsistent and ugly gaps, and this was only the first side, I had the whole other side to do and no way was anything going to line up if this piece is off because this is the starting point for the entire front end.
I was totally stoked when I first got this piece because it is beautiful, but the fitment is an F. I paid a premium for this piece and was not refunded even half of my total cost, even though I really tried to get this to work, so save your money and stay far away from this piece and learn from my mistake. I think the only carbon fiber piece I would purchase now is a stand alone piece like the exhaust cover or mud guard. Also, these pieces are not lighter than the plastic, which did surprise me a little, and they are very stiff so you will not be flexing a carbon fiber piece like you need to some times on the OEM plastic.
My OEM replacement for this carbon fiber piece went on in less than 5 minutes and I did not have to worry about breaking any tabs while fitting it together.
Very Disappointed. Save money and time, go with OEM.

Order This Hose if it is the size you need - It will save you time
This was the exact size I needed. I looked everywhere locally (all the major and minor auto part stores) and could not find it. This is for my 86 VF500f rebuild and it does not have a fuel pump so I wanted to make sure I kept the fuel lines exactly per spec. The hose was mailed fast and I had it in just a few days. If I had ordered from here first, I would have saved a lot of time looking for something local that did not exist. The hose is nice looking with a fabric braded exterior so if this is the size you are looking for, get it now and save time.
