Much more effective than the smaller ones

My oldest dog(lab) has very thick fur/skin. I started him on the "ultra light" and he literally had no response to the shock. It seemed like he couldn't feel it at all. The small receiver works fine on my other two dogs with thinner coats. I got the RF-275 and it does much better. It's still a mild correction for the big boy, but it does seem to irritate him and dissuade him from approaching the boundary.

I would not purchase this unit again, but it works for now

Plays a disc just fine. Quite slow with starting apps, and occasionally crashes like an old computer
