Best battery operated vac available
Superior to both the Fluval Aquavac AND the Ehiem Pro Vac.
The filter bag it comes with is garbage, I just take dual density filter fiber and sew it into bags, it's a great solution if you have a sewing machine.
Get a hose clamp if you'd like to keep it at the depth you set it at.
However if you can find and afford a Fluval ProVac I'd recommend that over anything else by leaps and bounds.

Improvement over orignal or total flop?
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this system for one reason only, to play Fallout 3.
If it wasn't for that one game, I don't think I'd ever have bought this system, they seem to have too many problems, poor x-clamps, failing gpu's and disc drives, overheating, loud, and god knows what else.
I have had none of these problems with my original xbox, and it is far more versatile, so I'd pass if I were you. Unless you're like me and are just really fond of a particular game.
