It works great. Makes fan removal easy, as the fan nut can require a lot of torque to break loose. Use a 24” breaker bar on the pulley bolt wrench.

Decent compressor
Suitable compressor for moderate valve spring pressure. Used on 4 cylinder GM engine. Tap on retainers with collet to release keepers before using. Compressor will distort if keepers are locked into retainer as it is not sturdy enough to break keepers free by compression alone.
When using you should feel only moderate spring pressure resistance when cranking down. Inspect that keeper is released from retainer and proceed to compress spring.
Select largest collet that will fit retainer and collet that fits valve. Collet on valve will rotate when compressor is cranked and will mar valve face. Use brake cleaner can cap under valve side collet for protection of valve.
