Fan oven element

Genuine plug and play replacement in my Smeg DUSC54X. Is done without removing oven, all from the hot side which was nice and easy. Works a treat.

Has its uses, just not forward mounted optics

I like Leapers usual good value and quality as I own a number of leapers scopes and mounts. Out of the packet this looked well manufactured and fitted straight on my 10/22 receiver. However with the cut out for the std rear sight it weakens the stiffness of this rail considerably. I was using it to forward mount a scope to go in front of a NOD, but there was that much flex in the front of the rail I could not get a holdable zero. It would be fine for mounting lights or illuminators jut not any aiming device as gently pressing it with my thumb could cause it to flex. That said the seller was great and I cannot fault them, just the product was not the usual quality I'd expect from Leapers. In the end I made my own long rail from a blank I had kicking about in about 2 hours.....and is stiffer than a porn stars whatsit!
