this recording defines excellence.
the greatest modern recording of "The Eroica". Scherchen did it better, but his was from the 1950s and in mono, so it could not be captured as well as Norrington's performance was.

the panasonic cf-29 rules. it is an old computer, but still has all the power and speed of the newest base model laptop, with five times the battery life. it is heavier than your average laptop, but if your "ultra portable" computer has a dead battery after 2 hours of use what good is it? the cf-29's battery lasts a minimum of 6 hours, and that performance can be streatched closer to 10 if you modify settings, and turn unnecessary programs off. the cf-29 also delivers when it comes to peace of mind: you dont have to worry about it being damaged by a fall, or a fluid spill (its strong, and waterproof). one of the most pleasing things about the cf-29 is its lack of fluffy bull-s#$t programs that you dont need, and another is the absolute security and devine comfort of knowing that the shock mounted hard drive cannot be destroyed or hurt by anything less than an explosion {your data and work are forever safe}.
go buy that base model HP, go buy that base model dell, and when you are running that sensitive brand new machine, and sweating bullets, because your affraid you will hurt it, or lose your work, the person that bought the toughbook will be healthy wealthy happy and wise.

Excellent battery-life (easily an hour more life than my cf-29 secondary battery). Your experience may vary but mine is/was good.
