Good Tool overall; Throat gage only measures Actual
Recently achieved my company Level III status and wanted a few personal gages found this one at an excellent price. When I verified the accuracy the throat gage only measures the actual throat and not the theoretical throat. The theoretical throat is the normal / standard measurement used during inspection not the actual throat. Therefore I cannot use this gage at work. The only reason I do not recommend this particular brand is because of the throat measurement on this gage. This is the first Bridge Cam that I have seen that does not have the ability to measure both the actual and theoretical throat.
