Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Lens

Great value in a utility zoom

Bought this lens a couple of weeks ago and find it quite sharp although it's a slow lens. It's f/3.5@28-35, f/4.0@50 and f/5.6 from 85-135mm's. Although it's a slow lens it's reasonably sharp once it's stopped down a little. Wide open it's usable but not as sharp stopped down. Built quality is reasonably good. Some copies of the lens have problem with binding in the middle of the zoom ring. The binding requires a little effort to zoom the lens. I should know, I purchased three of these before I got a good copy that zooms perfectly. If you purchase this lens from KEH or right here on eBay do check it out for binding and make sure the seller has a return policy and a warranty for 30 days or more would be to your advantage. Overall this is a very good utility zoom, just MAKE SURE you get a good one.

Good low budget center pinch lens cap, does what it's supposed to.

It's just a lens cap with the Canon logo embossed onto the cap to make it resemble a genuine Canon lens cap which it is not. I bought a pair of 82mm caps and they fit the lens like the oem cap would.
