Truly a competitive line.
1 of 1 found this helpful For the drummer who is beyond intermediate. The AAX is a definite reliable performer. Plenty of volume and presence. Sustain and decay are impeccable. I find the brilliant finish is easier to keep wiped clean of staining hand prints. Here's a tip, use gloves when setting up or tearing down with any cymbal, always wipe them clean after each and every use. And you guys thought drummers gloves were for playing, Ha! Callous hands are for playing, drummers gloves are for handling shiny gear. The dark crashes in smaller sizes I find compete better with the medium thin larger sizes as far as volume, though maintaining the size tone difference. I love this crash blended with my arsenal of 18's 17's and 19's and various splash sizes. AAX, you get what you pay for. I believe they are B22 bronze, which means in illiterate terms, damn good or better than average. Want the best? HHX is for you. Break the bank and go for it! But for the price and the bronze quality, and the handsome look of the AAX blended with a good mix through the PA system, you have nothing short of pure professional sound. Great cymbals! They cut through a jumbled mess of sound and make their presence known. If you have a higher end drum kit, I suggest these. Once you know what you are doing, you then, are only as good as your equipment.

Pro grade effects rack!
It is nice to find something these days that is worth your hard earned money at an affordable price. This case is superior in material and craftsmanship. Top grade hardware including, corner protection, spring loaded handles and clasps, tongue and groove lid alignment, front and back mounting strips for heavier amp and equipment mounting and even the rivets seem industrial and well placed. Heavy duty casters with swivels and brakes come packed inside the case with mounting bolts, very little assembly required with this rack. Put the wheels on and start loading it up. One great feature I like is it is true square, not dependent upon your equipment to straighten the cabinet. Ease of use is 100 percent. I highly recommend this case if you want superb quality in both craftsmanship and material but find it difficult to come up with 450.00 for one of lesser attention to detail. This case is just simply a no brainer. I will definitely buy more of these cases, as I intend on replacing all my tour cases with these. Just better for less. A winning combination. The only cons, well, the wheels are blue, and the case doesn't come pre loaded with all the essential sound gear. Honestly, that's the only negative thing I can come up with about it. A very handsome professional looking and pro durable, effects/amp rack. No wonder it says PRO X. Finally, someone who doesn't just throw that word around suckering people in to buy junk for high dollar. Impressed to say the least!
