broken lid
it lasted two weeks then the plunger broke apart from the lid it is plastic N.G. for this application cannot hold up to constant boiling water it wore out and broke after only a few uses.

Impressive
The press is solid thick molded stainless steel, it is a quality unit that is built like tank. The handle is welded to the housing no screws or pins. It comes with an stainless steel coffee spoon with a large alligator clip attached to it. It keeps the coffee very hot and it is of excellent quality.
