MOSHI iVisor Screen Protector - Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate
My new phone works well and does everything I need. Except one. I think the screen is designed to show smudges, smears and finger prints better than a CSI crime scene kit. Gotta have a new screen protector - ASAP.
Buying a new screen protector: It's always a test.
I'm never excited about getting a screen protector. Not any more: if you can get one of the things installed without destroying it or trapping too many bubbles under it - then you are better installer than I am. You know what I mean. Do you ever wonder WHY they always include several screen protectors in the package when you buy a new one? It's not because they are being generous.
Now there's MOSHI. The description was intriguing and the very few reviews I found were all good. Right away you notice the thickness of the protector. It's thickness is more substantial than normal, and installing it couldn't be easier. If you miss-align it just peel it off and try again - fantastic. They even state that you can wash and reuse it. I peeled mine off and didn't need to wash it, but re-positioning it was easy. You sure can't do that with the standard mylar type screen protectors. It's been about 2 months since I installed it, and I seldom need to clean my screen. I may wipe it off once a week but never because of finger prints. This is simply the best anti-finger print screen protector I've ever used.
Anti-Glare: Yes - it is and works very well. The anti-glare aspect wasn't what I was interested in or in need of. Regardless, it does a good job. The anti-glare function is evident by the matte finish. It also, with my phone, effected the overall screen brightness: it noticeably dimmed the overall brightness just enough that you could tell you needed to make an adjustment. This was easily corrected by turning on the auto-brightness feature.
Overall, I give this screen protector a score of 9.5 on a scale of 10. I marked it down by 1/2 point only because of the reduced brightness. The cost with shipping was a little more than all the standard protectors but worth the difference.
Recommended! I will look for a MOSHI protector again when I find a need.

Not overly large, wall mountable and does NOT sound an annoying, continuous beep during UPS functions.
So far all good. We are very pleased with the product. We use this as a backup UPS to operate our cellular home phone base during power outages and as a charging center for cell phones, Kindles, etc. It's installed in a wall mounted position, inconspicuous. Since installing it a few weeks ago we have had two power outages. One that lasted for ~ 4 hours. The UPS performed its intended task perfectly and we had telephone service the entire time. I'm very happy that it does not sound a continuous, recurring beep during a power outage. The old UPS that this replaced beeped constantly during power outages. Very annoying. Overall this is working out perfectly. Recommended.
