Preserves Red Wine

Does a great job preserving wine, especially red wine which can go bad so quickly. I've found you only need to use a very short burst of argon gas into the bottle stopper (sold separately) to protect the wine inside the bottle. No need to create pressure insidem, the argon gas is heavier than air so it must settle down inside the bottle right on top of the wine protecting it from oxidation. It's kept my wine fresh for at least 3 days, I imagine it can keep wine fresh even longer than that but wine doesn't last any longer than 3 days around my house.

Disappointed

The batteries are OK but the charger was a total disappointment. Within a month of purchasing it, I threw it away and purchased another. The biggest problem with it is that you have to charge NiMH batteries in pairs...it wont property charge an odd number of batteries. Also I dont think it is a "Smart" charger, which I believe is essential to retain NiMH capacities and lifespan. I dont recommend purchasing this unit at all.
