Good clock so far.
I bought this clock to replace one I fought in January of 2000 that finally quit after 17 years. I hope this one lasts as long.

Will not work in a Colt Single Action Army Revolver or any revolver.
I Have been using A-Zoom snap caps. The place where the firing pin hits is nylon. So I saw that the Tiptons have a brass primer and a spring. Better system. So I bought the Tiptons. I bought two sets and every one jammed my gun. The brass primer part is too long and extends several thousands past the base of the shell. This presses the spring loaded primer part against the rear of the revolver and jams the gun. I was able to make all 12 of them work fine by filing off the excess brass so it didn't extend past the rear of the shell casing. Sorry if you are having trouble understanding what I'm saying. I could explain it easily with a drawing. I contacted the manufacturer, Battenfeld and they told me the snap caps are not recommended for use in revolvers. There are rifles and revolvers made for 45 Long Colt cartridges. This must mean they only recumbend their product for use in rifles? They come six to a package. Revolvers usually have six chambers. Does anyone see the inconsistencies? After I filed mine down, it took 45 minutes to do all 12 of them, they work great in my Colt. A very slight change in the dimensions of the primer part and they would have a product better than any other. They do not seem interested in fixing their problem.
