This miniature model will bring back memories for kids from the 60's
As a kid back in the 60's I was a fan of the Gerry Anderson show "Fireball XL-5". This miniature (4.5" long) plastic model of the Fireball XL-5 space ship by Konami is very detailed and captures the original ship's appearance exactly. My only complaint is that when the "Fireball Jr." front capsule was attached to the main fuselage it was rotated slightly to the right so the stabilizing fins are not oriented correctly. It's a very slight defect but does detract from the model and considering the price is a little disappointing. Overall though it's a fun reminder of a great series that gave me many hours of entertainment.

High quality and accurate rendition of the 64th Armor unit crest
I served in the 64th Armor during the Cold War while stationed in Germany during the 70's. Officially regiments don't have patches, rather an enameled unit crest worn on your hat, and epaulets of your service dress or field jacket. The patch accurately captures the 64th's unit crest and would look good on any garment to commemorate one's service in this regiment.

Well made collection of Apollo Mission patch lapel pins
Approaching the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 8 mission to the moon inspired me to purchase this collection of finely enameled lapel pins depicting the original mission patches. These renderings are very accurate for the most part, I collected and still have the mission patches back in the 70's and with one exception these pins match up perfectly. With Apollo 12 for some reason the lunar surface looks strange with some whitish blobs and looks nothing like the original patch. Also, the set includes the overall Apollo mission patch but not the iconic NASA 'vector' emblem. A great way to commemorate our astronauts and the glory days of NASA.
