The Bible Doesn't Have to Be Intimidating
Good info for someone just learning how to read the Bible.

My Father Was One of the Casualties
My father served with the 106th and was captured along with the entire 423rd regiment on December 18, 1944. I have read every book on the 106th that I have been able to find, and this is one of the best. Most books I've read on the 106th seem to want to rush past that most important day in the Division's history, when 7,000 men surrendered and were marched in the snow to trains bound for Stalag IVB. The authors of this book, give a fiar account of the events leading up to the surrender. Of course, the 106th would go on to fight the continuing Battle of the Bulge, but my interest is more in the lead up to December 18, 1944. The chapters, "Man for Man Gun for Gun," and "We Never Surrendered," were especially compelling. If you are a World War II buff who enjoys reading the accounts of those who actually fought in the war, I would highly recommend, "Warriors of the 106th."
