ETC pannier
So I got this pannier so I could go to work without a backpack as my commute is 6 miles each way and sweating is an issue while wearing a backpack. They fitted to my bike easier enough, on the insides where they attach to the rack there is a quite janky velcro tab that feels like it will come unstitched some time soon if given loads into the bag that are not the same shape as the bags as to pull and tug at the stitching of the velcro, secondly they are waterproof on the inside not the outside, they literally fill with water in the rain as it gets in where they are stitched at the top of the bag above and around the zips, and can not exit the bag once in, the only way around this is to put a bag cover over the top of the bag (like a hat on a bag) this prevents water landing on the top of the pannier, penetrating the stitching and then filling allbeit slowly but surely. The zips feel of poor quality too, very flimsy. Apart from these issues the pannier is of good enough quality.

Grinder review
This is a great grinder being it is made of a zinc/aluminium alloy, this means that is not made from billit aluminium then machined but it's sintered so has been made from tiny granules of zinc alloy which are put into a mold heated and compressed. In mine there were a few hollows in the ends of the diamond shape teeth which points to poor mold filling in the manufacturing process but will make no difference when used a bit and all clogged up. The zinc alloy should be stronger than aluminium, we will see. The bushing insert is made of plastic which is a little disappointing, nylon would of been much better. The gause scuff catcher is held in via a piece of glued in plastic, a metal threaded retainer would of been better. All in all for £20 I can't mumble as it's 3inch across and smashes my Bud Buddy.
