I liked the Athearn 40' Derrick Flat Car for its looks and realism. The item came with realistic couplers, metal wheels, operating boom with metal chains. This was not a kit, It was ready operational from package to track. The item was very smooth and stayed coupled the entire operation. I have a variety of other manufactures Roundhouse, Proto, etc...This Athearn piece fit right in without any problems.
