The replacement shafts are better quality and design than originals. Scanner works perfect with these new replacement shafts.

didn't last long
One of the pair got water on the inside from rain and quit working after 6 months. I thought they were sealed and ok to put outside in the rain. they may be ok if you can mount them out of the weather but I had them mounted on a pergola by the pool. Now I use Bluetooth portable speakers.
