Good Replacement for Miele S5261
The part is slightly different to the one in the website image, because it does not have the metal "stiffening" wire on the back of the handle. The original one has lasted over 11 years with regular usage every week. Let's see how long this one lasts, but even if it lasts 5 years, at the much reduced cost compared to the one from Miele website directly, it will have been worth the expenditure.
Part easily fitted the existing original flexible hose and without any issues.
It fitted inside the main metal extension pole easily, but, to get that final "click" it requires a very small firm push and/or twist action. This is a very minor issue.
