Slow and steady...
42 gph... I'd be surprised if it flows 10 gph. As is, it served a purpose, pumping out the fuel tank of our boat. It just took forever.

Feather light and powerful 5WT
First impression was, "This can't be a 5wt!" It just is incredibly light epecially being a 4 piece rod. I flexed the assembled rod and could not feel any impairment or penalty for the additional ferrules. Initially I lined the rod with one of my Orvis mid arbor reels which was loaded with a 5wt floating triangle taper line and a 12 ft tapered braided leader and 5x tippit. I could easily and repeatedly hit targets in the range of 10 to 40ish feet, even into a slight breeze. This was probably more about the triangle taper than my casting ability. But the Orvis reel felt a bit heavy on such a light rod. I happened to have a brand new Redington Rise 4/5 reel and loaded with a more conventional 5wf floating line and another 12 foot tapered braided leader, et al. I could definitely feel a difference, first in the balance of the rig and laying the line out was more difficult compared to the triangle taper. However the accuracy was absolutely just as good with maybe a little less distance. Gonna try the triangle taper with the Redington reel soon. I've only had it out one day on the water and I found it capable of a very delicate presentation. Fish on, this rod has as much backbone as any rod I've ever used. Maybe this could be the best band for the buck in fly rods today.

Real alternative to Escort & Valentine
Far superior to my Escort SmartRadars. No need to sync up with the phone. And WAZE blows EscortLive out of the water anyway.
