Relevant again with FX cameras
The 35-70 2.8 is so much smaller and lighter than my 24-70 2.8. It’s good for travel if you can stand to lose some range.
This specific lens was a parts lens bought for the sole purpose of harvesting one of the internal elements that has fogged up on mine. Apparently this is common due to the fact that it’s multiple pieces of glass glued together and the glue aged badly, so watch out for fogging as it is unrepairable short of replacing it.

Perfect 1 series, do it all lens
Fitted onto my V1 or V2, it is the perfect travel camera system. Wide to telephoto in a small package.

No mangling of stock wires
If you want/need trailer lights and don’t want to tap or otherwise cut into existing wiring, this is the way to go. Sensors from this unit senses current and activates the trailer lights. You still need to find / tap into or wire up a news constant 12v source though...
