Carburetor Carb For Poulan Chainsaw 1950 2050 2150 2375 Walbro WT 891 545081885

Not a perfect match, but works great

There are many different carbs used on these saws, so it's not surprising that this one isn't a perfect match for my old Walbro. However, with some easy elbow grease, it can be made to work. This carb has a mechanical throttle interface that releases the choke automatically when the throttle is used. The problem is that the choke linkage contacts the air filter housing and prevents it from bolting together due to the extra pieces. There are two options, cut the housing, or switch choke shafts. The switch is easy and allows for the filter housing to be left uncut. Make sure to transfer the shaft's detent spring and ball into the new carb, so the choke stays in the closed position when needed. Once the switch was made, the saw fired right up and runs like a champ. The factory carb settings are close, but some adjustments will need to be made for fine tuning.
