Genuine Parts
1 of 1 found this helpful The bottom line is that it fits right, looks right! In the past I have purchased after market parts and ended up discarding them due to improper fit and or it doesn't look right. Waisted time and money! I make it a point to always buy genuine parts.

Fantastic Product!
1 of 1 found this helpful After reviewing this product, I ordered one with high expectations. When I receiving it, my first impression was that the quality of materials and construction was vary impressive! As I was installing it, I couldn't help but feel I was cheating, it was to easy! Being a vintage kind of guy, thought I had to have my push back wires, shinny solder joints, neatly wrapped wires. Its not just the ease of installation and removal, its the flawless function, fit and finish as well. The shafts are also extended a little bit so you don't have volume and tone knobs dragging on the pick guard that happened so often. The units are beautifully designed, neat and clean, the performance is fantastic. I coupled the blender unit with some of Fender's hottest pickups, (Jeff Beck) the sound was awesome! The units are a quantum leap from stock Fender harnesses. It also allows you to change out pickups or loaded pick guards in minutes. This company has a great product. I plan to continue using these as much as possible.

Functionality with a classic look.
Classic function and look, I've seen these many times on different guitars and had no idea where to find one. Now that I have, this part is a very nice accessory for a pickup with out a cover to finish off a cut out, weather it be a Fender pickguard cut out for a covered humbucker or even a pickup ring made for a covered pickups. I personally think a pickup sounds better uncovered but the windings / ribbon is left exposed. I have a beautiful Gibson flame top, with a ebony fret board, that I was installing genuine ebony wood pickup rings with uncovered black pickups. I installed this cover on these picks and finished off the guitar just beautifully! It was just the finishing touch that the guitar needed not to mention the added protection for the pickups. Great product!
