Works as described
Strait forward operation. Could use an off switch. Had to reset it once by unpluging the power.

Better than old reviews
Old reviews of this rifle describe a long and gritty 5 lb. trigger pull. Out of the box Nov. 2017 my rifle had a very light trigger pull with apparently no travel at all till it fired. The rifle is heavy but I believe that its weight negates the jump caused by the piston travel after the trigger is pulled and before the pellet is on its way. The rifle has a good solid feel. The scope does not have a reticle focus adjustment on the tail end so if you need glasses to read you will need them to see the crosshairs. Otherwise it is a reasonably good scope. As to power, three round in the same spot on a two inch thick phone book went through and on through a quarter inch thick particle board. This accurate and quiet rifle will feed me in a SHTF situation.
