Daily Working Boot
Everyone has different feet. For these boots to work for me I simply pulled the stock insole out and ran them. I wear a 10.5 these were spot on. I have a medium wide foot. For reference standard combat style boots are usually too tight around the widest part of my feet but doc martens fit nicely. They did take a little breaking in as any decent leather boot should. I bought these to take on a trip to with the intention of working in them after a month of trekking (At the price of $130 you gotta get your moneys worth). I have worn these boots 4-7 days a week since for two years now riding a motorcycle on my commute, working with oil and chemicals, sharp metal and so fourth. I take care of them but I put them to work. So far no tears anywhere. The sole is worn the most around the ball of the foot area but I’d say they have 50% life left. The sole grip on slick floors is decent enough. All in all this is the most comfortable pair of shoes I own including my other Nike sneakers. I’m going to stockpile a couple pair.
