Very nice tool roll
I bought this to store my carving chisels. The pockets are offset so that each tool doesn't overlap the next tool, which is perfect. The leather pockets were tight, but since this is leather, I expect they will stretch a bit to a snug fit. The rivets seem tough, and look like they will hold up over time. The roll is wrapped up using the cord. The cord is of sufficient length to wrap around the whole roll, and holds wells. Very nice tool roll, at a great price.

OK Mount
1 of 1 found this helpful This mount helps to hold your knife/clamp so you don't have to hold it yourself. I screwed my mount to a small board that is then clamped to my workbench. But the mount isn't all that stable. I expected to have to hold the mount, but you really have to hold to eliminate the rocking that occurs. This appears to be due do the loose fit of the knife/clamp to the mount post. Also, the mount post screws into the mount base. And this continues to come loose. I fixed this by adding a thin lock washer between the mount base and post. Would have been nice if the mount included this washer. Also, I had to drill a hole in the board I screwed the mount to because the screw from the mount post was longer than the base height. So the mount wouldn't sit flush on any surface. Again, hot a huge deal, but I can't believe the mount design didn't take this into account.
Overall, the mount helps with sharpening. But be prepared that it won't be as stable as it could be, and you might have to address issues when affixing the mount and using it.
