Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway, PC version
This game has great visual effects, gameplay and single player storyline. I can play it with everything set to high on my PC so the visual effects are stunning! I especially liked the way they show the "looking down the sights" feature is the most realistic depiction I have seen. (My gaming PC has a Abit IP35-Pro motherboard, a BFG 8800GT-OC graphics card and a Q6600 quad core set to 2.7 GHz with 2Gb memory). Every blade of grass moves separately, tile in buildings has a reflection, even the sheep are breathing! Very realistic, overall! The gameplay is mostly like a FPS, but you also have control of your fellow troops. If you have never played BIA before, it walks you through the procedure of commanding your troops as you play. You can then turn off the training feature in the menu once you get the hang of it. You basically have one squad pin down the enemy, then you move your other squad into a flanking position to finish them off, all while you do your part as in a regular FPS. When the game is set to the harder levels, the enemy AI responds even more to your troops' movements, just as in real life they also try to outflank you! I also liked the historical storyline and scenery! Every building, stream, wall and street is exactly like the areas fought over in Holland back in 1944, as the layouts were taken from photographs, after action reports and maps taken at the time and currently. The uniforms and weapons of the troops are realistic and accurate, too. Also, Nazi atrocities against civilians are depicted which seems rare in a WW2 video game. Note: This game gets it's "Mature" rating from it's accurate depiction of gore, violence and swearing, but these can be toned down in the setup menu, if you are playing in a mixed group. If you are a fan of WW2 shooters, you will like this game!

    VW Harmonic Damper tool set
The tools are of decent quality and fit perfectly for their job of holding the lower timing gear to the crankshaft while servicing the Harmonic damper, timing chain, lower timing cover and/or the oil pump. The case is kind of cheap but does its job. Only issue was the O-ring that holds the big pin and three small dogs together was split and the small dogs were loose in the case, (maybe from age or poor rubber?). Easy replacement, it's12mm ID. I had a green A/C O-ring handy, and it works perfectly now. Maybe they can include some spares??? I would have rated it 5 stars except for that issue.

    Redneck Rampage
This game is a classic "First Person Shooter" from 1997, so don't expect the latest graphics or sound effects. It's based off the "Build" game engine like "Doom", "Duke Nukem", and "Shadow Warrior". It will take a couple days to play it through for most people. There are a few verions of this game that were sold. Some of them are only partial games, with only the first 5 or 7 episodes (out of 14). These are called the "Early Years" and "Possum Bijou" editions, there's also a version without the music soundtrack so try to get the full version with the music for the best experience! The full retail version has a cool redneck rock and roll sound track that you can play as a CD and play in the game using the included 8 track! Artists include "The Reverend Horton Heat", "The Beat Farmers" and "Mojo Nixon"! This game is full of crude and offensive "Redneck" humor that makes fun of "Rednecks" but not other peoples (other than space aliens!). The dude you play as (Leonard) has alot of very funny sayings! Some people may find the language and violence too harsh or crude for their children. If it's not harsh enough for you, there is a separate "Cus Pack" available that will make a sailor blush! There were two follow-up games and one map pack, "Route 66" is a map pack for the original game. "Redneck Rampage Rides again" is a separate game with even more music, and additional weapons. "Redneck Deer Hunter" is another folloup game, which uses some of the same humor and weapons, but is a hunting game. This game had alot of "User Maps" made for it during it's hayday, most of which are still available on the web for free, which extends its play-again value. Some of these user maps are better than the originals! Make sure you get a version that works with your operating system as the original game runs on DOS and will only work with Windows 95 or Windows 98, (There's a different version for Mac, which may still work on a current MAC OS). There are some sellers here on eBay that include a Windows X86 DOS emulator and front loader that allow you to use this game on Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. You can find DOS emulators and front loaders as free downloads on the net.
