New life for the oldies.
1 of 1 found this helpful Have replaced Athlon II P340 with this cpu on my old laptop (Sony Vaio VPCEE3E1R PCG-61611V). Haven't any compatibility troubles, just setup to the slot and power on. Everything works great. With two more cores system has become noticeably more responsive. E.g. with old one couldn't watch 720p videos on internet without freezes, now even 1080p is not a problem.
