First, it wasn’t compatible with my existing dead bolt lock. Had to purchase a new lock. Then when installed it would not function. I have a mesh wifi system so its not a connection issue. App does not lock or unlock, app location function doesn’t work. HomeKit sees lock and will receive notifications but it will not function with HomeKit. August tech support has been reasonably responsive- typically 24-48 hours, which isn’t great in my opinion but it is within their window. But they could not resolve and at this point have given up and left me with a useless device. Batteries last about 3-4 weeks too.
I have a pretty complex smart home so not operating from beginners knowledge and this is the first device that has been total trash.
